HUDSON, NH — February 10, 2020: Approved Sheet Metal, LLC (ASM), a sheet metal fabricator located in Hudson, NH, is now open, making parts and creating new jobs for ambitious and skilled workers.
ASM operating in 25,000 square foot space, is a medium sheet metal production shop utilizing high precision Amada Turret Punch and Laser equipment. Turning ideas, 3D CAD models, even napkin drawings from a wide spectrum of customers in diverse industries into tangible products, Approved Sheet Metal can provide quick turn estimates and 1st article and qualified production run components.
Team leaders at ASM believe that encouraging employees to use and build their skills in a supportive environment is essential to provide customers with quality products and services. Every employee is important, from the person answering the phone to the ISO-certified quality inspectors. Everyone who is part of the team is valued and empowered.
One of the Team Leaders, Steve Lynch, got his start in a similar manufacturing environment in 1999 and worked his way up from deburring to a company owner. "I have a number of mentors from my journey, and as a company leader, I can now be a mentor to our team. I love training and charting employees’ skills growth and fabrication knowledge," said Lynch.
"Experience in manufacturing isn't as important to me as a good attitude. We want to be a fabricator where employees can develop careers instead of just working jobs. If you look at the Glassdoor reviews for this industry, you'll see that employees aren't happy, that there are too many restrictions on them. We're here to change that."
The Approved Sheet Metal team has ambitious goals to grow the company from the existing 12 employees with only 1 shift to 40 employees and 3 shifts by 2022. Although ASM is just getting underway, it is already seeing rapid growth due to providing timely customer responses that much of the market currently lacks. According to Lynch, ASM "has seen a large increase in orders in only a few days since the company opened. The energy is great, people are running around and are back to having fun fabricating precision sheet metal".
